It seems the honeymoon period is over for Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans and her husband of 26 days, Courtland Rogers. On Friday Jenelle announced she was headed for divorce after a fight with Courtland over her whereabouts in the middle of the night, but the couple soon made up. That tranquility was to last less than 48 hours as this morning Jenelle woke up to discover her man had been talking to his infant daughter and (more importantly) the child’s mother. That let to a HUGE Twitter fall out that included accusations of drug use, Courtland claiming Jenelle recently spent time “at the crazy house” and Kieffer Delp trying to buy Jenelle’s dog?

MTV renews Catfish for season 2

Most fans who fell in love with Catfish the movie were a little bit wary when it was announced MTV would be taking the concept and turning it into weekly show. (It could be said we didn’t want to be too optimistic about the show until we met it in person, in case it turned out to be a catfish itself!) Well, the series is six episodes in and I don’t know about you, but I know about me and the other 2+ million folks who are tuning in each week — we’re addicted! Of course, MTV is well aware that viewers have taken to the show, and they announced earlier this week they will be bringing back Yaniv “Nev” Schulman and Max Joseph for a Catfish Season 2!

VIDEO CNN Hero Catalina Escobar has saved over 2,000 babies

One of my favorite year-end lists is the CNN Hero project that highlights many people doing extraordinary things that I may not have otherwise known about. This was certainly the case for Catalina Escobar of Cartagena, Colombia. Escobar was volunteering her time at a local hospital in the town of Cartagena when a 12-day-old boy died in her arms. This was heartbreaking enough, but when she discovered his passing could have been prevented with a mere $30 she had in her pocket it was a situation she found untenable. This, combined with the tragic loss of her own son, led her to action and over the last decade she’s been credited with having saved over 2,000 babies. There have been rumors that Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has been using heroin and that her addiction to the drug was the real reason for her recent extended hospital stay, but she has denied those claims repeatedly, insisting her hospital stay was because of her continued problems with ovarian cysts. Today the 21-year-old single mom seemed to concede her heroin problem to a certain extent by retweeting comments made by her husband Courtland Rogers, who claimed Jenelle’s ex Kieffer Delp got her addicted to the drug. Tis the season for random viral video thefts and so it was for Mr. Al Alverson from deep in the heart of Texas. Al had come home expecting the delivery of an iPad mini he had purchased as a Christmas gift for his daughter. When he discovered it was not there, he went to his surveillance footage and got a shock when he discovered why. It turns out that a UPS delivery dude who had brought a separate package had stolen the iPad mini that was delivered by a FedEx delivery dude earlier in the day. This IS NOT logistics my friends.
