Ryan Murphy's son Logan Phineas

Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the FOX hit Glee, tweeted the above photo of his son Logan Phineas Miller Murphy. It’s the first shared photo of the baby boy born on Dec 24.

Murphy wrote:

“Thanks to everyone for the kind wishes. Logan is one-week-old and doing great. Happy new year!”

Little Logan is the first child for Murphy and husband, photographer David Miller. Ryan and David were married in Provincetown, Mass., in July 2012.

In an interview with Vogue, Murphy made his intentions of starting a family clear. He said:

“I thought if I don’t do this … I’m 46 … I will really, really regret it. I want the kid to be bold. And I have a lot of preparation, dealing with these actors. [They’re like,] ‘Really? F**k you. I’m going to do the opposite of what you want.’ But I realize, you just have to let go or you’re screwed.”

Logan was born via surrogate. Murphy took his real-life situation and turned it into another show, The New Normal, which returns with all new episodes on NBC Jan 8.

Congrats to Ryan and David on their cute and healthy little guy. You can click on the pic for some full page, “Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!”
