Tabloids are never big fans of happy endings and the emotional wedding of Leah Messer and Corey Simms in the season finale of Teen Mom 2 is apparently no exception. Just a couple weeks after the parents of twins Aleeah and Aliannah pulled America’s heartstrings both In Touch and OK! are reporting they are separated and headed for divorce!
Although MTV’s popular Teen Mom reality series has only been around for two years, albeit in two separate incarnations, the girls and their entourages have had more brushes with the law than the Dukes of Hazzard!
Baby daddies, friends, moms, dads, boyfriends and even the teen moms have found themselves behind bars and in front of various booking photo cameras in police stations all over this great land. So, I thought in honor of tonight’s Teen Mom 2: Unseen Moments special I might compile what I think are the 10 best mug shots from the entire Teen Mom universe!
The hugely successful second installment of MTV’s Teen Mom franchise wrapped up last week and the families gathered together in Los Angeles for the Teen Mom 2 Finale Special with Dr. Drew which aired last night. Leah, Jenelle, Kailyn and Chelsea let Dr. Drew and audience members catch up with what has been happening in their lives since the show stopped filming and talked with him about their futures. Tax papers obtained by TMZ reveal a seriously large amount of money that Bristol Palin has made to be a spokesperson for the prevention of teen pregnancy. This begs the question; Should Bristol Palin be judged in the same harsh light as the cast members of MTV’s Teen Mom franchise often are for making money off the fact that they had sex and became pregnant as teenagers?
Teen Mom 2‘s Jenelle Evans must not like the videos of herself currently circulating online, which include the infamous brutal “Teen Mom Brawl” clip as well as her smokin’ a funny looking cigarette with best “bud” Tori, so she diluted the market yesterday with a fresh batch of Youtube clips featuring herself, boyfriend (and partner-in-crime) Kieffer Delp, and her son Jace.
It’s become apparent that Teen Mom 2 Jenelle Evans’ life has more than enough drama for the MTV reality series to handle. Actually, her life seems to have more drama than a 24/7 live feed reality series could handle! The latest chapter in the Jeniliad (my apologies for the Homeric reference) involves yet another incident in which Jenelle’s on-again, off-again, on-again (ad infinitum) boyfriend/walking Abercrombie & Fitch hoodie billboard Kieffer Delp was allegedly inebriated from a mixture of alcohol and drugs and got into a bit of a spat with Jenelle that would eventually lead to him breaking into her house and standing over her while she slept!
Kailyn Lowry’s financial troubles are no secret as they have played a major part in her storyline on Teen Mom 2. But perhaps her fortunes are about to change because the single mother of one just announced via Twitter that she has a new job! This blog (as well as thousands of others) spends a lot of time obsessing over the young ladies from the MTV reality series Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2. These eight girls, their friends and their families supply us with a seemingly endless supply of on-and-off-screen drama to write about as they try to deal with the responsibilities of motherhood being thrust on them at such a young age – all of which plays out each and every week on our television screens and in the tabloids.
I’m as big a fan as anyone of the Teen Moms and their entourages, but I thought I might take a moment to recognize some of the under-appreciated stars of the show – namely the inanimate objects that play such an important supportive role.
