There were a lot of familiar faces in the premiere episode of Ax Men Season 6, but one long-time cast member didn’t look like himself at all. S&S Logging’s Jimmy Smith appeared to have lost at least 50 lbs. and his graying dark hair had turned almost completely white. It didn’t take the show long to give an explanation for Jimmy’s transformation: he was fighting cancer. Sadly, Jimmy lost his battle with the disease on November 1. Is Storage Wars fake? Dave Hester lawsuit alleges salting of lockers and more
Dave Hester filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against A&E Television Networks and Original Producers, the producers of Storage Wars, today after months of turmoil over his contract and the alleged “salting” of storage units won my cast members. The suit alleges that after Hester asked for indemnity from the alleged fraudulent manipulation of the storage units to producers, they fired him — which he claims is a breach of contract. In addition to the “salting” of lockers with unique and interesting items, Hester claims producers rig the bidding for dramatic effect, repay an antiques business for items used to salt lockers by featuring them on the show for appraisals, and even paid for a female cast member’s plastic surgery to add sex appeal! Mob Wives Chicago canceled by VH1
Mob Wives Chicago sleeps with the fishes. A VH1 spokesperson has confirmed that the Windy City follow up to their popular New York City based Mob Wives series will not be coming back for a second season. The Chicago Sun-Times spoke with a few of the cast members and got their disappointed reactions as well as a litany of reasons for the cancelation that included the Olympics, lack of advertising, and something called an “accent barrier.”

It’s been a week since Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was admitted to a North Carolina hospital for what she has said were complications stemming from ovarian cysts, but the 20-year-old engaged reality star is out! The fun-lovin’ Tony was arrested along with four others for being involved with a highway prank involving a… gorilla suit? Of course! After all, a gorilla make me holla, honey boo boo child!

Jenelle Evans’ recent mysterious week-long hospital stay inspired a lot of online sleuthing over the past seven days, and one of the fruits of that labor is this mug shot of Jenelle’s fiance Courtland Rogers from his arrest as part of an Oak Island, North Carolina drug raid in 2010. Dubbed “Operation Ocean Storm,” the raid was a 21-month operation that resulted in 36 indictments in addition to the confiscation of numerous firearms, ten vehicles, and an estimated $65,000 worth of drugs.
