Tinley Park, Illinois Mayor Ed Zabrocki says MTV is not welcome on Tinley property while filming an episode of 16 and Pregnant featuring local resident Maddy Godsey. Listen to a phone interview with Zabrocki in which he explains that he has only seen one episode but believes the show “glamorizes unwed mothers.” Also find out about Michael Papandrea, the owner of the restaurant MTV wanted to film at who initially agreed with Mayor Zabrocki, but later had a change of heart and decided to let the network film the scene at another of his locations not on Tinley Park property.

Sister Wives lawsuit: Judge rules Utah anti-polygamy laws unconstitutional

Polygamist Kody Brown and his family, stars of TLC’s Sister Wives reality series, filed a lawsuit in 2011 challenging the state of Utah’s anti-polygamy laws and on Friday U.S. District Court judge Clarke Waddoups issued his ruling on the case, declaring most all the laws to be unconstitutional and essentially legalizing polygamy. More Jenelle Evans arrest information released by police

As we reported last night, Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans was arrested Saturday and booked for breach of peace after an alleged altercation with her boyfriend, and father of her unborn child, Nathan Griffith outside of their North Myrtle Beach home. Jenelle took to Twitter to say that the whole thing was a big misunderstanding and that Nathan was just talking on the phone. But, earlier today, North Myrtle Beach Police spokesperson Patrick Dowling revealed more information about the arrest from the police report which seems to indicate that Jenelle and Nathan were indeed involved in an argument.

Briana DeJesus and Alex Sekella expressed their frustration over the fact that Teen Mom 2 is currently filming its fifth season, with Alex writing, “Guess we weren’t enough of train wrecks for it to be interesting. It appears that the headline-grabbing barbeque-themed backdoor pilot episode of Best Funeral Ever was successful enough to merit the return of TLC cameras to the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas to bring viewers more over-the-top themed funeral services as part of a seven-episode run of Best Funeral Ever. The series premieres tonight at 10/9c with two back-to-back half-hour episodes with four total funerals, including services with bowling, wedding, Olympics and breakfast themes. Is TLC’s Breaking the Faith fake or real?

TLC drew a lot of criticism for its Breaking Amish reality series after it was later revealed that all of the cat member had left their respective Amish and Mennonite communities long before taping began. As you might expect, when TLC announced they would be airing a similar series based on former members of the controversial Warren Jeffs led FLDS (Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints) titled Breaking the Faith (premiering tonight at 10/9c), many were skeptical just how truthful the series would be. Judging from evidence gathered so far, it appears TLC is sticking to their tried and relatively untrue formula by casting actual former FLDS members, but then having them act out a scripted narrative.
