VIDEO PHOTOS Shahs of Sunset’s Reza Farahan shaves off his mustache on Bethenny

Reza Farahan has mustache shaved off by Bethenny Frankel

So, what comes after Movember? Apparently it’s Detrimber as reality television’s most-loved lip broom gets whacked off! Shahs of Sunset star Reza Farahan allowed Bethenny Frankel to trim off his famous mustache Wednesday for an upcoming episode of her talk show, and the results were Farahunbelievable!

Now that’s a video “clip!”

Reza was fulfilling a promise he made during a previous appearance on Bethenny back in November during which Bethenny suggested they could shave it off for charity — which is exactly what wound up happening as Bethenny donated $10,000 to Reza’s charity of choice, Project Angel Food, a Los Angeles-based organization that provides free meals for adults and children affected by life-threatening illnesses.

Just before going after Reza’s ‘stache with a Remington electric trimmer, Bethenny jokingly asked, “Did you come out of the womb with a mustache?”

Reza responded by exclaiming, “I did!” He then added rather nervously, “This will actually be the first time in my life that I’ll be able to see my entire face without hair above my lip.”

Here are before and after photos of Reza Farahan with and without a mustache:

Bethenny’s website started a poll to see if fans preferred their Persian Prince with or without the mustache and surprisingly 59% prefer Reza without! (Blasphemy!)

So what did Reza think of his bare lipped look? “I kinda didn’t recognize myself,” he tells Us Weekly, “and it was kinda jarring. I didn’t know what I was looking at.”

Reza shared a selfie on Twitter and wrote, “RIP MY MUSTACHE #shahs”

So will he leave his lip nekkid or will we be seeing the return of the mustache? “I am just more comfortable with it,” Reza told Us Weekly. “I feel lonely, like my wingman is gone.”

The Reza-shaving episode of Bethenny is set to air January 10 (check local listings for times in your area). Meanwhile, new episodes of Shahs of Sunset can be seen Tuesday nights at 9/8c on Bravo.
