Another new song from Katy Perry’s upcoming second album has hit the internet! The song is called “Futuristic Lover” and it plays on an extraterrestrial metaphor with lines like “wanna be your victim, ready for abduction” and “you’re from a whole ‘nother world, a different dimension.” This seems to support my theory that Russell Brand is actually from another planet! I knew it!

The death toll from the recent flooding in Tennessee, Kentucky and Mississippi has risen to 31, according to reports from CNN.com. Hardest hit by the torrential rains was Tennessee and its capital city, the home of country music, Nashville. 21 people have died in the Volunteer State and 10 of its counties have been declared disaster areas by President Obama. Damages in Nashville alone are expected to exceed $1 billion.

NFL Hall of Famer, and possibly the greatest defensive football player of all time, Lawrence Taylor has been arrested in the town of Ramapo, New York on suspicion of rape. The 51-year-old former New York Giants linebacker was accused of raping someone at a Holiday Inn in Montebello, New York. An official press conference will be held sometime this afternoon. David Boreanaz has admitted to People magazine that he has been unfaithful to his of nearly nine years, Jaime Bergman. The admission comes after a mistress of his got herself a lawyer and threatened taking the story to the media if he didn’t pay up.
Boreanaz has yet to identify the woman in question, merely stating, “I was associated with a woman who I was involved with and had a relationship with,” Boreanaz tells People. “She asked for money. I felt as though I was being blackmailed or there was some sort of extortion.” But, Star Magazine claimed back in October of 2009 that Boreanaz was having an affair with Rachel Uchitel, who nobody knew at the time because The National Enquirer wouldn’t reveal her affair with Tiger Woods until nearly a month later.

The Simpsons voice vet Hank Azaria took to the streets of New York City dressed as Gargamel Friday as filming continued on The Smurfs movie, due out in August of 2011.
The film will be a mixture of live action and CGI animation with all of the smurfs being the latter. Hank Azaria, voice of Springfield’s Moe Szyslak, Chief Wiggum, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon and many others, will be one of the live action stars as he takes on the villainous role of the evil Gargamel who is plotting to capture all the smurfs who have somehow tumbled into Central Park.
