VIDEO: Eminem and Jay-Z announce hometown baseball park shows at Yankees vs. Tigers game

Someone out there is a promotional genius and they work for either Jay-Z or Eminem.  In an announcement during the live prime time broadcast of the New York Yankees Detroit Tigers night game yesterday Jigga-man and Slim-Shady dropped a bomb.  They are going to team up for two shows at each other’s hometown baseball parks.  The Detroit show will have Eminem headlining at Comerica Park (home of the Tigers) on September 2nd.  Jay-Z will headline the very first concert at the “new” Yankee Stadium on September 13th.

Here are two clips of the hip-hop living legends making the announcement.  This first clip is from the ESPN broadcast:

Eminem’s latest single Not Afraid has pulled off the extremely rare feat of debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard hot 100.  These shows should be monumental.
