Kim Kardashian is now officially the most followed celebrity on instagram with 22.3 million followers, and she’s near the top on Twitter as well with well over 26 and a half million. Some attribute her success to the Ray J sex tape, but there are tons of little known celebs with sex tapes who weren’t able to turn that into an international multi-million dollar empire. Others may say it’s because she has a reality show, but Keep Up With the Kardashians doesn’t pull in any better ratings than your average Real Housewives series. So how did Kim Kardashian become so famous?!? And is it something she’s earned?
