Is it just me or does it seem like every single contract signed by Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino turns out to be a grenade? In the last couple years the 31-year-old reality star has been tangled up in contract disputes with Dilligaf apparel company, Performance Brands, and Serious Pimp Apparel. Today Mike added Devotion Spirits to the list by filing a lawsuit claiming he signed on as the spokesperson two years ago on the grounds that he would get 2% equity in the company on it’s one-year anniversary, but so far, he has received no payment. MTV producers reportedly sat down with the cast of Jersey Shore in Seaside Heights just before filming began on the sixth installment of the popular reality show began and explained that this would be the last season. “An executive producer announced that this season will be the last,” an insider reveals in the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now. “She stressed to the cast that fans will remember them for this season, not the first, so they should bring their A game.”
Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino shocked fans when it was revealed back in March that he had checked himself into rehab, reportedly for addiction to a laundry list of prescription pills that included Xanax, Ambien, and Dilaudid. Several weeks ago Mike checked himself in to the Cirque Lodge stating that he needed to, “get control of a prescription medication problem I had due to exhaustion.” Well apparently he’s back to where he wants to be because he’s officially out.
When Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino checked himself into the Cirque Lodge rehabilitation facility a couple weeks ago he revealed to admissions counselors that he used prescription drugs Xanax and Ambien excessively. But now it is being reported that his problem was much worse than he let on because he was also abusing the prescription pain drug Dilaudid.
Yesterday Jersey Shore’s The Situation admitted that he was in rehab receiving help for a problem with prescription pills. Some reports have also cited his drinking as a problem, something that wouldn’t be too much of a surprise since we’ve all seem the footage.
Even so his drinking seemed to be on par with the rest of the crew, but there were other things going on that made The Situation’s behavior erratic even when everyone else was sober (or made his behavior seem more extreme even when everyone else was wasted, remember when he slammed his own head in the wall in Italy?)
The Situation’s dad told Radar Online that this isn’t his son Mike’s first time at the rehab rodeo. He went once before at the age of 27, after years of substance abuse.

Maybe it’s because the clubs don’t open until late in Florence, or it maybe it’s because there are no clubs in Florence, but whatever the reason the cast of Jersey Shore hit the streets for their first night out in Italy and wound up smushing some carousel horses!

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino stayed a little truer to his Jersey Shore roots than his female cast mates, looking like he just hopped out of a Seaside Heights night club in dark denim jeans, dark jacket, V-neck shirt, no tie and ultra-white tongue-out sneakers.
Beginning later this year the Jersey Shore mantra GTL will stand for Gorgonzola, Tuscany and Leonardo as America’s favorite group of hedonistic Guidos and Guidettes head to their homeland for the fourth season of their hit reality series. That’s right – Snooki, The Situation, J-Woww, Pauly D, Sammi Sweetheart, Ronnie, Vinny and Deena will be packing their bags and headed to Italy!
