It’s hard to argue that reality America has become The Situation nation and now us non Jersey types can star alongside Mike Sorrentino in his upcoming web series on Yobi.tv! That’s friggin’ right, you can submit a video entry to show why you gots whats the Sitch needs to take his game to the next level. Even grenades have a shot, well that’s not true cause ya’ know Mike is never down with the grenades. Boom!
This new web series is being hosted by Yobi.tv. Here’s the premise via the show’s official website:
Random Talent is a hilarious spoof of TV talent shows. Mike will play the role of a famous hip-hop star who is asked — begged, actually — by the producer to be the lead judge.
The burden of keeping Mike’s character happy falls to the second judge, played by YOBILaugh Season One Winner Ben Green, who was sent from England (where the show originated) to create a successful US version.
The YOBIAct winners will play the third judge and the Director-Producer of this hilarious series where the judges have nothing in common but need to find the next huge talent before the producer loses the show sponsors!
So from what I can tell you can be like J-Lo in a spoof of American Idol in which The Situation and some dude from England play the other two judges. Hey ya’ got to start fame-hoin’ somewheres right? After reviewing a few of the many entries here are some of my favorites and the stiff competition if you decide you got what Mike needs.
First up is DJ Steven Solis. Steve likes hanging with his buddies, electronica and the fact that he’s got more muscles than anyone he knows:
The next up on our, “please let me hang with The Situation video cries for help” is ItsShirtTime and his strange interaction with mannequins. If you pay close attention you will catch the worst came out of the closet joke delivery in history:
And one more for the road in this chillin’ with Mike request fest. I’d be amiss if I didn’t include a female tamale in this post. I mean who would Sorrentino be without Jwoww? Well he’d freaking be The Situation still exploding grenades but just without Jwoww. Anyways, here’s Sara from a small town in West Virginia and her submission is wonderfully odd because she is just so normal and sweet. I think she just might win because of the interesting dichotomy:
