MTV announces Jersey Shore Season 6 to premiere October 4 at 10PM
It’s official — the sixth and final season of Jersey Shore has a premiere date! David Janollari, Head of MTV Programming, made the announcement during the network’s presentation at the Summer 2012 Television Critics Association Press Tour earlier today that the beginning of the end will be October 4. Janollari also officially announced Snooki & JWoww would be returning for a second season (something we revealed more than a week ago) as well as Money For Strangers. Joe Giudice rejects plea deal, heading to trial this fall
Joe Giudice (aka Juicy Joe) appeared in court this morning to face fraud and identity theft charges following his attempt to obtaining a driver’s license using his brother’s name in June of 2010 after his license was suspended just a few months prior when he was charged with DUI. Today, Joe was offered a plea deal which he refused, opting to instead proceed with a trial.

‘Sister Wives’ Brown family sues to make polygamy legal in Utah
Although all Utah criminal bigamy charges have been dropped for the Sister Wives‘ Brown Family, it still is a third-degree felony in the state to just say you have more than one wife (as in, not filing the legal documents, but having “spiritual” marriages like the Browns have.) Because of that, the Browns are fighting back, and have filed a lawsuit against Utah in an attempt to get a “federal judge to overturn the state’s bigamy law as unconstitutional.”
