Courtney McCoy is a 2010 graduate of Marshall University with a degree in International Relations, History, and Political Science with good looks, business acumen, and a fiery temper. The latter quality is probably thanks in part to the fact that Courtney is a direct descendent of the infamous McCoy family from the Hatfields & McCoys feud. Dad Victor Ruiz of Houston, Texas was arrested last week after his car was towed from a no parking zone — with his two young daughters inside! The incident occurred at Ruiz’s apartment complex where he had parked illegally and left his daughters in the back seat as he unloaded groceries. According to eyewitness Sade Jones, a tow truck driver pulled into the apartment complex, hooked up the car, snapped a photo of where it was parked, and drove off quickly even though she says she was yelling at him, “Wait, wait wait! Everyone knows the old adage, “even a broken clock is right twice a day,” well apparently even computer viruses can be helpful once a decade! 21-year-old Jay Matthew Riley of Woodbridge, Virginia has been charged with multiple counts of possession of child pornography and solicitation of a minor after bringing his laptop in to a Prince William police station and asking officers if he had warrants on file for child pornography because he received an “FBI Warning” telling him he needed to pay a fine or a criminal investigation would begin. The warning was a computer virus (or malware) commonly referred to as “ransomware.”
