VIDEO Kim Kardashian didn’t want to give her baby a ‘K’ name for fear people would call them the KKK

Kim Kardashian had some serious koncerns about naming her and Kayne West’s daughter anything that started with a K.

“If we name our kid with a k name, which is what we want mainly because Kanye and I are K, but then our kid, if it’s a K, then they’ll call us the KKK,” Kim reveals to her siblings in a clip for the upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Although step-bro Brody said that was crazy, he told Kim he was feeling North West.

“Me too! It’s pretty and cool and it’s not just, like, tomboy,” Kim said of the name she and Kanye ultimately chose for their daughter.

She may have been particularly concerned because of Kevin Hart’s joke in a commercial for last summer’s MTV VMAs. In the promo, Kevin brainstormed “couple names” for him, Kim and Kanye and ultimately settled on “KKK.”

“You got a white hoodie?” Kevin asks. “Let’s march!”

In addition to her concerns about future taunts for her family, Kim said she was worried about her baby’s privileges.

“When Kanye and I were designing the baby’s play room and Kourtney’s like, ‘you need a play room,'” Kim said. “I didn’t have a play room! I just played in my room and then cleaned it up. Like how much do you give them?”

That clip is funny to watch now, considering we learned today that Kim and Kanye are building one of the most extravagant homes ever. She may have been worried about the luxury of a play room, but is apparently unfazed by spending more than $1 million on beds!

Keep up with the Kardashians during Sunday night’s episode on E! at 9/8 p.m. CST.
