If you’re one of the 7-8 million people who watch Pawn Stars every week, you’ve probably gaped in awe at Rick Harrison’s vast supply of knowledge. You show him anything, and he’ll rattle off facts about it like he’s known it all his life. Granted, most of this is prepped; people aren’t just walking in off the street with Abraham Lincoln’s top hat. There is a level of production going on with the casting and research, but even with a bit of help it’s clear that Rick Harrison is a pretty sharp dude.

Tonight on Real Housewives of New Jersey we learned that a little more about Kathy Wakile‘s adorable family. The kids had to sign a contract about their (realistic) promises to stay out of trouble for their parents. 15-year-old son Joseph wrote his contract with the precise language of a lawyer, and informed his parents that although he would not bend his beliefs, part of his believes involve having a few drinks on the weekend when he’s a Junior and Senior. While teenage drinking is extremely dangerous and irresponsible, it’s a sign that Kathy and Richards are good parents that their son feels comfortable enough to be honest with them.

One of the latest episodes of TLC’s Freaky Eaters featured a woman, Nikki Miles, who was addicted to corn starch! She loved the powdery substance more than food: more than some of the yummy, fried, sugary, fatty foods that people usually get addicted to. Nikki was packing away three boxes a day (about 3300 calories) and it was causing weight gain, belly pain, and constipation.
