Life is too short, and so is this teaser trailer for Life’s Too Short, the latest sitcom from the brilliant minds of Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant.
This series, which will air on the UK’s BBC2 before it makes its way over to The States, is a mix between The Office and Extras because it’s a mockumentary about show business. For a change, the show doesn’t star Gervais; instead it features Warwick Davis (from Willow, Harry Potter, Lord of the RIngs) playing a “fictionalized version” of himself as a struggling showbiz dwarf who’s doing a reality show to try to get back on top in the biz. He also starts his own talent agency for little people, called Dwarves for Hire.
Gervais and Merchant will appear as fictionalized versions of themselves, and a wide array of A-List guest stars (many are surprises, but Johnny Depp is confirmed) are also slated to humiliate themselves in typical awkward Gervais-Merchant fashion.
