What happens on the set of movies between co-stars stays on movie sets between co-stars, until one of them blabs about it to a national magazine.
Shia LaBeouf answered int he affirmative when a Details magazine reporter asked him if he got intimate with former Transformers co-star Megan Fox on set.
Asked if he hooked up with Fox, LaBeouf nods affirmatively. “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them,” he explains. “I never understood the separation of work and life in that situation. But the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.” When I inquire about Fox’s status at the time with her longtime boyfriend, Brian Austin Green, LaBeouf replies, “I don’t know, man. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know. . . .”—repeating the phrase exactly 12 times with various intonations, as if trying to get it just right. Finally, he says, “It was what it was.”
Those are some “details” all right.
Unless this has already been dealt with husband Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox might be in some pretty hot water today. Hopefully she’s already made a full disclosure, and they’ve moved past it.
This romance between Shia and Megan was speculated at the time, with gossip hounds noting how affectionately they acted toward each other when out in public. Many times when there’s smoke, there’s fire.
Fox married Green a year ago, June 24, 2010, after dating him for six years. They reportedly had a brief split in February 2009 (was this related to Shia?)
Unfortunately for him, Shia didn’t get a third chance to have an on-set romance with The Foxy One, though. She got canned from the franchise by Steven Speilberg after she made some ill-thought-out off-hand remarks comparing director Michael Bay to Hitler.
