Larry David doesn’t watch The Bachelorette, but that didn’t stop him from getting involved in all this Bentley Williams drama when he appeared on the Jay Leno show with Ashley Hebert.
David is sometimes uptight in interviews, but he was relaxed and his comedic top form, riffing and innocently flirting with this season’s Bachelorette. When he learned there was a guy on the show named Bentley who broke Ashley’s heart because he was there for “the wrong reasons,” (Ashley’s quotes, not mine) Larry mock-passionately interjected “I’m going to kill that mo-fo. I swear to God, I don’t know what this guy did, but I really dislike him!”
When Leno asked if Ashley would go back to Bentley, Larry came to her defense, “No, no she won’t. Cause you why? I won’t let her. I’m not gonna let her.”
Larry! Now you’ve gone and won all of our hearts. But seriously, this little interchange highlights a new talent for Larry: talking to reality stars. Can you imagine Larry in a room full of Real Housewives?
