Monday night David Dobrik released a more direct and detailed apology on his main YouTube channel than the one he released last week on his less popular VIEWS channel after he lost his brand sponsors and partnerships. Is he being misleading in this more emotional apology?

Social media personality and former Vlog Squad member Jeff Wittek, who has recently defended himself against accusations from Trisha Paytas and other witnesses that he helped supply alcohol to girls under the drinking age the night that one of them was sexually assaulted by Durte Dom, sustained some injuries and bruises this summer. When he went on the Frenemies podcast this Sunday, Trisha Paytas brought up his eye injury, which he has willingly shared on social media. She asked if the injury happened as a result of filming content for Vlog Squad leader David Dobrik, but Jeff declined to comment about exactly how he got hurt.

Bhad Bhabie is continuing her crusade against not only Turn-About Ranch, where Dr. Phil sent her when she was 13-years-old after her career-launching appearance on his show, but all facilities and programs like it. She recently debted a polished YouTube video, and then defended the video on social media. Her messaging about programs like this is that instead of helping the troubled teens who are sent to them, they end up further traumatizing already traumatized young people.

The past few weeks have ushered in the fast rise and even more breakneck fall of a previously little-known Tennessee commune, or intentional community, called The Garden when a couple of its members started producing compelling TikToks and inviting anyone and everyone to come visit them. The fact that they published their address on their TikToks and marketed The Garden as a kind of utopia raised red flags for many people as communities like this usually have a vetting process and don’t so blatantly market themselves. This led viewers to investigate The Garden, and the people currently living there, further, and to speculate even harder. Is The Garden a cult or just a bunch of people trying to live sustainably and save the Earth?

In the past weeks, David Dobrik has come under mounting heat over pranks and behaviors associated with his past YouTube blogs. His friend Scotty Sire spoke out in defense of David’s intentions in a now-deleted video, but David has remained silent until a few hours ago when he uploaded a 2:31 minute video to his podcast channel following an explosive Insider article that alleges former vlog squad member Dom Zeglaitis raped a woman in 2018.
