In a buildup to The Hills‘ alternate ending set to air Aug. 9 on MTV, the channel is running marathons of the now-retro show. It takes us back to LC, Kristin Cavallari, Audrina, Lo Bosworth, the whole bunch!

One pair, however, really knew how to dominate the headlines while they were on top: Speidi! They were so good at it they wrote a book about it. Maybe they should have read their book more thoroughly because they essentially dropped off the face of the earth. How are they? What are they doing now?

In other words, Devon, Andrew, Matt and Samuel get a fashion makeover in which they transition from being awkward Mennonite and Amish young men from Pennsylvania and Indiana into awkward Mennonite and Amish young men from Pennsylvania and Indiana wearing plaid button-up shirts, jeans, brightly colored swim trunks and the obligatory Affliction print top.

MTV green-lights 4 new unscripted series including “Untitled Virgins Project,” renews “Awkward” with new show runners

MTV announced earlier today they have given the green light to four new unscripted projects, including one that seems to be a complete 180 degree turn from their previous reality show successes, Jersey Shore and Teen Mom (1, 2, 3). The show is tentatively called Untitled Virgins Project and is described as “a docu-series following the lives of young adults as they navigate the world of relationships and sexual pressures all while sharing one major thing in common: virginity.” (I suppose they could also have the GTL mantra — but definitely no Smush Room!) (I have to confess it’s a little odd doing a “Farrah Abraham attending an event” photos post when she’s not wearing a skimpy bikini or surrounded by sex toys and women in leather lingerie and fishnets.)

REPORT RHOA’s Cynthia Bailey not pregnant, has uterine fibroid tumors

The Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Cynthia Bailey found herself at the center of pregnancy rumors back in June when she appeared to be sporting a bit of a baby bump while attending the 2013 Miss USA pageant. Cynthia later assured fans that she wasn’t pregnant but “dealing with a medical condition that makes me look pregnant.” A family friend now reveals that Cynthia’s “baby bump” was caused by uterine fibroid tumors and viewers will get to see Cynthia dealing with the diagnosis and having them surgically removed next season.
