As we reported earlier this week, 16 and Pregnant alum Nikkole Paulun’s son Lyle had to be rushed to a Toledo, Ohio hospital after having trouble breathing. Soon after being admitted to the hospital, Lyle was moved to intensive care — and doctor’s still didn’t know what was causing his breathing issues! Nikkole has since gotten a diagnosis and updates us on what is ailing Lyle and how he’s doing now.
Never one to miss an opportunity for commentary through fashion, Lady Gaga wore an oversized pink and blue dress while leaving her hotel in Paris earlier today, an obvious reference to the reactions from her announcement earlier this week that she has gained 25 pounds over recent months. In addition to the suit, Lady Gaga also tweeted, “And thank to my fans who love me no matter what, and know the meaning of real beauty&compassion. I really love you” with an image of Marilyn Monroe and a quote attached.
On Thursday singer Fiona Apple entered into the Hudspeth County Texas Marijuana Bust Hall of Flame alongside such notable tokers as Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg when she was arrested after a drug sniffing dog (not Dogg mind you) caught wind of Apple’s tour bus and police found about four grams of marijuana and four grams of hashish in a backpack. Apple spent the night in jail and was forced to reschedule her concert in Austin scheduled for that evening. She posted $10,000 bail Friday morning and was able to make her appearance at the Bayou Music Center in Houston where she kicked off the show by addressing her arrest. Fox Searchlight released the first official Hitchcock movie poster earlier today featuring a finely dressed Anthony Hopkins holding a large butcher knife between entwined fingers under Alfred Hitchcock’s famous opening words “Good Evening.” In addition to the poster being released, the production company also made the surprise announcement that the film, originally scheduled for a 2013 release, will hit theaters on November 23. The move will make the film (and its cast and crew) eligible for Oscar awards this season!

Just when you thought we’d seen the last of the original cast of Teen Mom on MTV with last night’s “Unseen Moments” special, MTV has announced Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, and Catelynn Lowell will be returning to the network for two more specials in October! A one-hour “Farewell” special will air on October 2 featuring the cast members looking back at their journeys over the last four years, with “with never-before-seen footage including their original casting tapes.” Then, on October 9, MTV will air a half-hour “Ask the Moms” special during which the cast members will answer lots of burning, unanswered questions such as “whether Maci and Ryan have ever hooked up post breakup to whether or not any of the girls will be on TV again!”
On this week’s episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Alana continues to get ready for the big Rock Star Pageant by bringing in the big guns in the form of Miss Georgia 2011, Michaela Lackey! “We’re hoping to give her some tips on improving in the pageants,” Michaela says in the promo. She later adds, “Alana’s manners, I think they could definitely be worked on a little bit.” Sounds like Michaela has a pretty good grasp on the task at hand.

Tonight is the premiere of CMT’s new reality series Cheer! featuring a competitive cheerleading squad of 20 girls from Kenilworth, New Jersey headed up by Patty Ann Romero, who Cheer! executive producer Kelly Ripa calls “the most quotable woman alive.” The show will feature six one-hour episodes and will follow CMT’s other successful cheerleading reality series, Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team, which is premiering its seventh season just before Cheer! tonight. The Office executive producer Greg Daniels announced on a conference call earlier today that the award-winning sitcom would be ending its run after nine seasons, with the final episode coming in May of 2013. Wynonna Judd and her husband Michael Scott “Cactus” Moser went for a motorcycle ride together (but on separate bikes) just prior to Wynonna’s concert in Deadwood, South Dakota on Saturday when Moser collided with an oncoming vehicle. According to initial reports, Moser was transported to a local hospital where he was being treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Now we are finding out that the injuries were really serious and resulted in Cactus Moser having his left leg amputated.
Things seemed to be looking up for troubled mother and daughter tandem Barbara Evans and Jenelle Evans as they recently shared photos of themselves together having fun at Jenelle’s son Jace’s third birthday party, and were even reportedly looking at getting a house together. But things have apparently taken a turn for the worse as Jenelle took to her blog moments ago and angrily revealed that part of the reason her mother hadn’t been returning her calls is because Jace had surgery yesterday! Barbara then told Jenelle she wouldn’t be able to see her son until Friday. Needless to say, Jenelle is NOT happy!
