The newest batch of celebrity relationship train wrecks made their debut last week as the second season of VH1’s Couples Therapy kicked off. As part of the premiere, fans were given the back story on all of the “celebrity” cast members, including numerous tabloid covers featuring the cast members. Oh wait, none of these cast members are big enough to be on the covers of tabloids. That’s OK though, VH1 just made some up for you. In perhaps the greatest waste of time in human history I have captured all of the fake tabloid covers used in the premiere episode, carefully edited them in Photoshop, and compiled them for you here!
Wow! Earlier this week we had Christopher Walken and Tom Waits on the same red carpet, and now my TV faves are colliding as The Real Housewives of New York City‘s Sonja Morgan, Storage Wars‘ Barry Weiss, and Breaking Bad‘s Dean Norris (that’s DEA agent Hank Schrader y’all!) were photographed having wine together in the green room at NCC media’s New York City Upfront event yesterday!
We’re only halfway through the premiere season of TLC’s unreality series Breaking Amish and we’ve already found our third mug shot photo of a cast member prior to his or her appearance on the show. First we had Katie Stoltzfus with her DUI arrest in April of this year, then we uncovered Abe Schmucker’s booking photo from his 2008 public intoxication arrest (along with his brother), and now we have the first of what could be many mug shots of Breaking Amish‘s elder statesman, and apparent chronic domestic violence practitioner, Jeremiah Raber.
In “How in the world didn’t this happen sooner?” news, Funny or Die has just released a hilarious video clip in which two “real life” drag queens reenact the infamous “I’m very rich b!tch!” scene between Real Housewives of Atlanta stars NeNe Leakes (Latrice Royale) and Sheree Whitfield (DiDa Ritz). Its almost too dead on to be funny! Almost 🙂
Most fans of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans jumped for joy when she announced she was dating a new man and proudly declared, “I think I have broken the “Gary/Kieffer” Spell I was under! YES!” on her blog. But that joy was tempered a bit when it was revealed Jenelle’s boyfriend, 26-year-old Courtland Rogers, has a criminal past that includes larceny and drug possession. We spoke with Courtland who opens up about his arrests — what led up to them and how they have made him a better man.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 4 Reunion Special has gone pretty much as expected, with nonstop screaming, lots of accusations about husbands cheating, death threats, bad singing, and concern about “the children.” Melissa Gorga even went as far as to say the reason she and husband Joe Gorga are selling their home (including the custom recording studio built for Melissa) is because they don’t want their children attending the same school as Teresa and Joe Giudice’s kids! Teresa took to her web site yesterday and addressed Melissa’s statement about not wanting their kids at the same school, as well as a number of other issues that have come up on the Reunion Special so far in a blog entry she titled “My Darling BEAUTIFUL Niece.”
It’s been a little while since we’ve provided an update on our favorite burlesque dancing, roller derbying, tattoo loving enterpreneur and reality starlet Danielle Colby Cushman! The Antique Archaeology office manager from History Channel’s hugely popular America Pickers has apparently been a bit off the radar thanks to her acquisition of a second home in Logan Square, Chicago, just outside of Chicago. In what could very well be the greatest coincidental mish-mash of pop culture references ever, we found a video of Chelsea Lately writer and comedian Heather McDonald impersonating Sarah Palin endorsing Christian LaBella, who was just arrested for allegedly assaulting Lindsay Lohan in her New York City hotel room after a dispute over a photo, for President of the Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity at the University of San Diego.

Celebridom is officially minus one of the most eligible bachelorettes on the planet this weekend as Anne Hathaway got married to fiance Adam Shulman in a ceremony held in Big Sur, California on Saturday. Hathaway, 29, and Shulman, a 31-year-old actor and jewelry designer, got engaged in November and have been together a total of four years. As we reported earlier this week, 16 and Pregnant alum Nikkole Paulun’s son Lyle had to be rushed to a Toledo, Ohio hospital after having trouble breathing. Soon after being admitted to the hospital, Lyle was moved to intensive care — and doctor’s still didn’t know what was causing his breathing issues! Nikkole has since gotten a diagnosis and updates us on what is ailing Lyle and how he’s doing now.
Never one to miss an opportunity for commentary through fashion, Lady Gaga wore an oversized pink and blue dress while leaving her hotel in Paris earlier today, an obvious reference to the reactions from her announcement earlier this week that she has gained 25 pounds over recent months. On Thursday singer Fiona Apple entered into the Hudspeth County Texas Marijuana Bust Hall of Flame alongside such notable tokers as Willie Nelson and Snoop Dogg when she was arrested after a drug sniffing dog (not Dogg mind you) caught wind of Apple’s tour bus and police found about four grams of marijuana and four grams of hashish in a backpack. Apple spent the night in jail and was forced to reschedule her concert in Austin scheduled for that evening. She posted $10,000 bail Friday morning and was able to make her appearance at the Bayou Music Center in Houston where she kicked off the show by addressing her arrest. Ever since the announcement was made that original Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Sheree Whitfield would not be back for the fifth season, the internet has been awash in speculation and rumors about who would be replacing her. Earlier tonight Bravo cleared up all the mystery with an official announcement of two new cast members as well as a Season 5 premiere date of November 4!
Fox Searchlight released the first official Hitchcock movie poster earlier today featuring a finely dressed Anthony Hopkins holding a large butcher knife between entwined fingers under Alfred Hitchcock’s famous opening words “Good Evening.” In addition to the poster being released, the production company also made the surprise announcement that the film, originally scheduled for a 2013 release, will hit theaters on November 23. The move will make the film (and its cast and crew) eligible for Oscar awards this season!

The show, which features four Amish youths and one Mennonite leaving their restrictive religions behind to explore New York City together, is now coming under fire as details begin to emerge about the five cast members which suggest they aren’t quite as “fresh off the farm” as TLC would have us believe. Just when you thought we’d seen the last of the original cast of Teen Mom on MTV with last night’s “Unseen Moments” special, MTV has announced Maci Bookout, Farrah Abraham, Amber Portwood, and Catelynn Lowell will be returning to the network for two more specials in October! A one-hour “Farewell” special will air on October 2 featuring the cast members looking back at their journeys over the last four years, with “with never-before-seen footage including their original casting tapes.” Then, on October 9, MTV will air a half-hour “Ask the Moms” special during which the cast members will answer lots of burning, unanswered questions such as “whether Maci and Ryan have ever hooked up post breakup to whether or not any of the girls will be on TV again!”
On this week’s episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo Alana continues to get ready for the big Rock Star Pageant by bringing in the big guns in the form of Miss Georgia 2011, Michaela Lackey! “We’re hoping to give her some tips on improving in the pageants,” Michaela says in the promo. She later adds, “Alana’s manners, I think they could definitely be worked on a little bit.” Sounds like Michaela has a pretty good grasp on the task at hand.

European tabloids continue to be a royal pain in the ass as another magazine publishes some of the now-infamous topless photos of Kate Middleton (aka Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge) (aka Catherine, Topless of Cambridge) sunbathing on the balcony of a French chateau. Fresh on the heels of France’s Closer, Italian magazine Chi has followed through with their plans to publish some of the more than 200 previously unseen Middleton ta-ta pics in their latest issue, which hit newsstands yesterday.
As was widely reported online, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo patriarch Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson was taken to a Macon, Georgia hospital over the weekend with complications stemming from an injury sustained in a four-wheeler accident a couple weeks ago. There was very little information about why Sugar Bear needed to be hospitalized, but “Mama” June Shannon took to the Honey Boo Boo Facebook fan page earlier today to let fans know what happened.
