Bravo’s new fine art reality show competition Work of Art: The Next Great Artist is fully underway with two episodes already under its belt and the third installment set to air later tonight. As I mentioned in a previous post in which I profiled printmaker/installation artist Miles Mendenhall, a few of the contestants have already seemed to distance themselves from the pack right out of the gate.

In my opinion the top two contenders are Miles and 23-year-old Abdi Farah, who have both finished in the top three in each of the first two episodes. Andrew Koppel died from heroin, cocaine, Valium and alcohol

40-year-old Andrew Koppel, son of Nightline host Ted Koppel, was found dead in an upper Manhattan apartment early on the morning of June 1 after a reported day-long drinking binge. At the time there was no indication that Koppel had taken any drugs in combination with his alcohol consumption, but an announcement by the NYC medical examiner today states that Andrew Koppel also had illegal and prescription drugs in his system at the time of his death.

Mad Men actress January Jones was driving home around 9 PM last night after watching the Los Angeles Lakers game at The London West Hollywood Hotel when she lost control of her Range Rover and smashed into three parked cars. The owner of one of the smashed vehicles tells TMZ, “she heard the crash, looked over her balcony and saw Jones. She says around 10 minutes after the crash, Food Network star Bobby Flay showed up in a separate car, began talking with her and telling her to leave the scene, which she did.”

VIDEOS Porn actor Steve Driver jumps from a cliff to his death

34-year-old adult film star Stephen Clancy Hill died Sunday after jumping from a cliff and falling more than 50 feet. The suicide occurred just before dusk at 5:30 p.m. after a nearly eight-hour standoff with the Los Angeles Police Department’s elite SWAT unit and crisis negotiators.

Hill had been charged with one count of murder and five counts of attempted murder after a brutal attack Tuesday at the Ultima DVD manufacturing facility where he had been working and living. 30-year-old adult film actor Herbert Hin Wong (a.k.a. Tom Dong) was killed in the attack, in which Hill allegedly used a movie prop machete. (You can read all about the initial attack HERE.)
