Dancing with the Stars eliminated another celebrity dancer last night as they sent a tearful Jake Pavelka home.
The hunky and charming star of The Bachelor must have been experiencing flashbacks to when Jillian booted him off of The Bachelorette as America decided being really nice and humble wasn’t enough to justify bringing him back to perform another week.
Through the tears Jake was able to tell viewers how thankful he was for the opportunity: “Thank you for keeping me here for six episodes,” he said. “This is a lot harder than I thought it was going to be.”
He really started to get choaked up while expressing his admiration for the cast and crew of DWTS and his dance partner, Chelsie Hightower. To Chelsie specifically he said, “I love you. Thank you for being so wonderful to my beautiful fiancee, Vienna.”
Something tells me we haven’t seen the last of ol’ Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi! He got booted from The Bachelorette only to rebound as the highest rated Bachelor in the history of the very successful show. And Vienna overcame so much controversy and hate to win Jake. These two are a slightly older and slightly less distasteful version of Heidi and Spencer and I’m sure they will continue to find ways to stay in the headlines. My money is on The Amazing Race.
