It’s been hinted at for some time, but Fox entertainment chief Kevin Reilly made it official earlier today by announcing Mariah Carey will be one of the judges on Season 12 of American Idol. Reilly made the announcement at a meeting of the Television Critics Association, saying that Fox and Mariah had reached a deal only hours before. We don’t cover Pretty Little Liars enough on this site, and that’s sad because it’s actually a really good show for what it is: a teen mystery soap. But the acting and scripts are well done, the characters are developed, the styling is terrific, and the mystery element is titillatingly executed. Not only that, but it does delve a little deep into the complexities, and different types, of deception. It’s a guilty pleasure you don’t have to feel tooo guilty about.

As we reported earlier, 16 and Pregnant Season 3 alum Danielle Cunningham was arrested on Saturday after reportedly getting into a heated argument with her grandmother. The 18-year-old single mom was charged with domestic violence after the argument escalated and police were called.
