Sammi Giancola and Deena Nicole Cortese are the best of friends on Jersey Shore. Although they didn’t like each other when Deena first joined the show in season 3, the two quickly became BFFs, on-screen and off. Unfortunately, that all came to an end yesterday when Deena did the unthinkable — she bought a BMW similar to the one Sammi owns. Horrible, right? Once Sammi saw Deena’s new ride, she unloaded on her on Twitter!
Sammi first tweeted, “Imitation is flattery” but when she realized that people may not know what she was talking about, she took it a step further and clarified, “Congrats to @DeenaNicoleMTV for her new car that looks EXACTLY like mine. #cantyougetyourownstyle it’s alright imitation is flattery”

When Deena got word of Sammi’s public criticisms, she responded, saying, “lol @mtvsammi WOW. lol pretty pathetic..im pretty sure theres 11231 ppl out there with white bmws..does yours have a stripe? red interior? the m package?? OH WAIT! and yours is a 5 series! and mines the new 3 series.. honestly you ranting over twitter bc of a car is pathetic..if you were a real friend youd say congrats..like my other 2 girls with beamers.”
We’ve got to say, isn’t Sammi overreacting a bit? They may both be with BMWs, but that is where the similarities end. Is this really just over a car? Something makes us think there is much more going on behind closed doors.
To make it even more clear that their cars were different, Deena posted the photo above of her car’s interior with the caption, “My interior.. Sam take a pictures of yours..im sure its EXACTLY the same.. your sad giiiirl.” The saddest part of this whole ordeal is that these two former besties are really going to end their friendship because of a car!
Sammi later tried to make it seem as if she wasn’t concerned with the car and tweeted, “Anyways lol onto more important things in life then a car…” There sure is. Why spends so much time B.M.W.ing aka “B!tching. Moaning. Whining?” (That’s the latest Jersey Shore catch phrase)
As much as she may have wanted to end all the drama, the damage has been done — they’ve even stopped following each other on Twitter. Tsk, tsk.
