Today’s announcement comes after months of speculation over who would score the coveted gig, with Lowe being chosen over former Bachelorette winner (during Ali Fedotowsky’s season) Roberto Martinez, Emily Maynard’s runner-up Arie Luyendyk Jr, and Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte.
