The Real Housewives of Orange County may not be currently filming, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t plenty of drama going on. Vicki Gunvalson is still dating bad boy Brooks Ayers (despite recent claims that she cheated on him) and her daughter, Briana Culberson, and son-in-law, Ryan Culberson, are still not happy about it. Just as she did during the season, Vicki is sticking be her man and not letting what everyone else thinks impact her life.
During The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 7 reunion show, Briana told host Andy Cohen that Brooks called in to a radio show and told them about her pregnancy. This issue popped up again online earlier this week when Brooks engaged in a Twitter feud with a fan.
Briana, who rarely tweets, got in on the action, telling the fan, “ABSOLUTELY TRUE. he outed I was pregnant along with my private wedding details.” Brooks reply? “I didn’t sell her story to the press. That’s stupid.”
Ryan Culberson has been pretty vocal as well. The husband of Briana and son-in-law of Vicki took to Twitter on September 12 to announce, “Brooks is a manipulating lying piece of s**t!” Moments later, he added, “Out of respect for my MIL I will keep all the issues we have against Brooks private for now.” The tweets have both since been deleted, but luckily the folks at Reality Tea managed to grab a screen shot of them before they were.
Although Vicki hasn’t directly addressed Briana or Ryan’s recent tweets, she did speak to Wetpaint about Brooks and how other people’s negative words about him have hurt their relationship. “It’s been definitely damaged by all the negativity. No matter who you’re with as a person, you want everybody to court and love you. But at the end of the day, it’s my life and I divorced two men because they weren’t good for me. Do you think I’m really going to stay with someone who’s not good for me?”
Vicki adds, “I’m very happy. I’m not going to worry about what other people think anymore.” In other words, Vicki has yet to see the Ayers of her ways 😉
Though there is plenty of drama in the lives of Vicki and her family, there’s also plenty to celebrate. Briana is due to give birth next month to her first child — a boy!
