REPORT JWoww and Roger Matthews are engaged

Newly engaged JWoww and Roger Matthews

Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley did what Ronnie Magro told her not to do — she fell in love at the shore. JWoww and Roger Matthews hit it off during season 3 of Jersey Shore and now, three seasons and one spin-off later, the two are still in love and ready to take the next step in their relationship — marriage. Last week, Roger reportedly proposed to his guidette and she said “yes!”

“It happened the middle of last week during filming for season two of Snooki & JWoww,” a production insider tells Wetpaint. “[JWOWW] and Roger went skydiving and jumped out of a plane together. After landing safely, Roger shocked her by getting down on one knee and proposing.”

JWoww had previously told press that she was more excited at the thought of a big diamond than of an actual wedding, and it looks like she got what she wanted. “The ring is beautiful,” the insider reveals. “It’s big.” The Jersey Shore star’s father asked her a couple questions about what she’d want her ring to be like over lunch a few weeks ago and delivered the information to Roger to ensure that she got the perfect bling.

Unfortunately for JWoww, she won’t be able to show off her engagement ring any time soon. “The crew took great pains to make sure they weren’t followed by photographers and the footage is being kept tightly under wraps. Everyone will have to wait until Season 2 to see it,” the insider explains.

Back in July, JWoww and Roger opened up about their future plans for marriage. “[Roger’s] dad is dying for us to get married,” Jenni told PEOPLE Magazine. “He wants grandchildren. He texts me almost every day for that.” Roger told the mag that he “absolutely” wanted to get married.

MTV has declined to comment on the proposal.

In honor of this guidoriffic engagement, here’s a little tribute tune from New Jersey’s own Bruce Springsteen:

Now the countdown begins on Jenni’s transition from JWoww to JMomm.
