A firestorm has erupted inside the Big Brother house and it has nothing to do with alliances or showmances. Sadly, the headlines are coming from a litany of racist and homophobic statements made by the house guests and seen by fans and fan sites via the 24/7 live feed. We’re only into the first week of Big Brother 15 but the house guests have already made a few splashes, and some not in the way they or CBS would want. What had been rumored in Big Brother forums for a while was verified when it was announced last week that former winner Rachel Reilly’s sister, Elissa Slater, would be cast for season 15. While her relationship to the polarizing champ made most of the headlines, it turns out that sister Elissa has been on TV before. During a May, 2012 episode of Anderson Live about bridezillas, Slater won a trip to Mexico (if America’s votes have much influence – this could hurt her for sure). Big Brother villain Willie Hantz was arrested in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana at 2:07 AM this morning. It’s official, the emotional roller coaster that is Rachel Reilly won Big Brother 13 last night in a tight 4-3 final jury vote. She’s tweeted her joy, along with a photo with her “bookie” Brendon Villegas of course, and sat down with The Talk to discuss her half-a-million dollar victory.
So we’re down to the final three for season 13 of Big Brother. I feel somewhat vindicated because in my pre-season pool that I do with some fellow BB addicts I went out on an emotionally unstable limb and picked Rachel to win it all and I’m still liking my chances. We’re left with the vet and two floaters in the form of Adam and Porsche. Tonight it will all be determined and I want your input on who you think deserves to take home the half-a-million dollar grand prize.
As a fan of Big Brother I’m a “technotronics” Jeff man myself and was disappointed when he got sent packing after a power move by Shelly Moore in a surprising double eviction ceremony. Other fans of the show are more than disappointed apparently as it’s being reported that Shelly’s family, including her 8-year-old daughter have received multiple death threats in the wake of Jeff’s eviction.
