The evidence continues to mount in support of the recent reports that Teen Mom 2 stars Leah Messer Simms and Corey Simms are getting a divorce. Online court records indicate the couple filed for divorce the week of April 15, which seems to be in line with these photos from April 14th showing Leah visiting the office of a family law attorney with papers in hand.

We previously published some photos provided by Splash News that claimed to be Teen Mom Leah Messer reading from “divorce papers” to a friend as an MTV film crew captured the moment for Season 2 of the show. The photos came on the heels of numerous reports, and even online court records, claiming Leah and her husband Corey Simms had filed for divorce.

Ever since OK! and In Touch both published stories that Teen Mom 2 couple Leah Messer and Corey Simms were separated and getting a divorce the Teen Mom universe has been up in arms waiting for confirmation one way or the other. All has been uncharacteristically quiet on Twitter and Facebook leading many to speculate the rumors may be true.

Sadly, we can now confirm that they are.

Online court records indicate Leah and Corey filed for divorce between April 8 and April 15. Also, see photos taken Friday featuring an emotional Leah Messer reading aloud to a friend from some printouts that are allegedly about the split as the MTV cameras roll.

Amidst numerous tabloid reports that she is divorcing husband Corey Simms, Teen Mom Leah Messer Simms was photographed taking her two twin daughters Aliannah and Aleeah to dinner at Friday night – without Corey.

This is just the latest subtle indication that the stories are true, especially when you consider Leah and Corey said on the Reunion Special with Dr. Drew that Friday nights were their nights and they usually spent them together as the grandparents watched the girls.

Tabloids are never big fans of happy endings and the emotional wedding of Leah Messer and Corey Simms in the season finale of Teen Mom 2 is apparently no exception. Just a couple weeks after the parents of twins Aleeah and Aliannah pulled America’s heartstrings both In Touch and OK! are reporting they are separated and headed for divorce!
