The first episode of Sister Wives Season 18, which appears to be set in early fall, 2021, starts with Kody Brown describing the state of the family as a “civil war.”

Sister Wives Season 18 is reportedly a sure thing, but what will the show look like given that three out of Kody Brown’s four marriages are apparently over? It’s hard to have a show called Sister Wives when there are no sister wives, right?

Kody shared some behind-the-scenes information in a Cameo video earlier this year in which he revealed that he has been filming with a couple of his male friends and business partners — both of whom have appeared on the show before.

When Christine Brown left her polygamist family in 2021 there were many questions as to whether or not she’d still be considered a “sister wife.” Her fiancé David Woolley thinks she is, and is even encouraging her to be one.

Although Meri and Kody Brown are now reportedly split, it looks like they’re still filming Sister Wives together. Some Redditors have reported spotting Kody and Meri together in Utah, and found evidence that they’re filming at Meri’s Bed and Breakfast in Parowan, UT. In fact, Meri may be moving away from Flagstaff, AR entirely.
