Details about the death of 32-year-old actress Brittany Murphy are beginning to surface as police and the coroner’s office continue their investigation into her untimely death on the morning of December 20, 2009. Included are notes from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office investigator including a breakdown of the many prescription drugs found in Brittany’s home.

Here is a video interview with Brittany Murphy’s Los Angeles neighbor who describes the paramedics attempts to resuscitate Brittany, saying the actress was “fairly obviously dead.”

Actress Brittany Murphy passed away earlier today at the early age of 32. There are lots of wonderful things that can be said about Murphy’s acting career, but in addition to her charismatic on-screen talents she was also one of the most photogenic celebrities on the planet. Not only was she a very beautiful woman, but she had that Drew Barrymorish way of always being able to look like she was having a great time, and for someone that flips through hundreds of these photos a day, it was always refreshing when Brittany’s smile popped up.
