VIDEO – Watch footage of Brittany Murphy’s last film, Abandoned

Below is a clip of the very last film project Brittany Murphy worked on, Abandoned. Director Michael Feifer describes having a “warm relationship” with Brittany and saying she was “always on the ball” despite claims that she was a wreck to work with. Feifer also raved to Extra about her deep connection with her husband, Simon Monjack. 

Abandoned is about a troubled woman with psychiatric issues trying to search for her husband who’s disappeared from a hospital. The 45-second clip below is a taste of what may be a bad movie with a tired script but Brittany’s engaging performance turns what could be just melodramatic muck into something watchable. She’s always brilliant at playing troubled, quirky characters, and I’m probably not alone in saying I didn’t know what a huge Brittany Murphy fan I was until she passed away.
