Husband of nurse who died in car crash after falling asleep at wheel suing hospital for “working her to death”
The husband of a Ohio nurse who died in a car wreck after a 12-hour shift in March is suing the hospital for allegedly “working her to death.” Beth Jasper fell asleep behind the wheel of her SUV and died in a crash after a 12-hour shift. Jim Jasper believes the hospital, which he argues suffered from a nursing shortage, had warning signs that they were working his wife too hard and that they’re culpable in her death.
