The mama drama continues! In MTV’s Teen Mom Episode 4 “Moving On” Amber and Gary’s rocky relationship gets rockier and their future together is in doubt. I was doing a little background research on the cast members of MTV’s The Real World Washington, D.C. diligently looking for some skeletons in the closet so I could flex my Pulitzer-worthy journalism muscles when I stumbled onto a thread about Erika Lauren Wasilewski on vevmo.com that made my mind implode! The discussion there started after the web site shabooty.com published an email allegedly from Erika’s former boyfriend Billy who claimed she started telling her friends she had skin cancer shortly after he broke up with her back in 2006.

MTV’s 23rd season of their Real World franchise launched tonight, this time in the nation’s capitol of Washington, D.C. As usual, the first episode featured a cacophony of memorable moments and characters as eight strangers from all over the country came together for the first time in the house they will be sharing for the next six months. There were religious debates, an outing of a homosexual, panda hats and an overabundance of flirting as Andrew, Ashely, Callie, Emily, Erika, Josh, Mike and Ty decided where they were going to sleep and who they were going to drive crazy.
Though there were some interesting characters present, the politically-charged hotness of Ashley Lindley from Houston, Texas seems to have garnered the most internet buzz immediately following the season premiere. The Portuguese hottie not only looked good as she talked about wanting to sleep naked, she also showed she was drama-ready and fully prepared to get in the thick of things, creating and sustaining the kind of drama this sort of show thrives on. She’s got attitude, religion and political fervor – that’s a recipe for some serious reality entertainment!

Me either. I have no idea why I did these. But, I DID! Here are some collectible trading cards from the alternate universe mashing up a galaxy far, far away with the boardwalk just across the river. It’s the world of Ewops, Tattoo-ine and partying at the Mos Jersey Cantina. A wonderful place where the stress of saving the universe over and over is replaced by the relative ease of hooking up with random hot Guidos and Guidettes over and over.
Though there are numerous beautiful characters and things from the offspring of Star Wars and Jersey Shore, I’ve managed to whittle it down to the Top 5, and here they are!
MTV appears to have a male/female graphic violence double standard, censoring the now-infamous “Snooki Punch” from the airing of the episode of Jersey Shore, yet they had no problem with Amber violently pushing her fiance Gary into a corner by his throat and then slapping him while screaming the entire time. Could you imagine the outrage if the roles had been reversed – if Gary had choked Amber and violently pushed her into the corner and hit her?!? (We almost get the same effect when Amber grabs him by his D-cup man boobs.)

The teenage mama drama continues as Maci deals with her absentee baby daddy Ryan, Amber deals with an avalanche of bad news, Farrah continues her efforts on the dating scene with a new beau and Catelynne starts to feel a little distant from Carly.
Watch the full premiere episode of MTV’s Teen Mom, the follow-up show to the popular 16 and Pregnant series. MTV picks up the storylines of Amber, Catelynne, Maci and Farrah as they deal with trying to raise a child at the age of 17. Actually, Catelynne and Tyler put their child up for adoption so their storyline is their struggle with that decision and having to deal with their infant-like parents.

It appears as though The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Lynne Curtin has finally done something exciting! No, she hasn’t replaced her twin brother Steven Tyler as lead singer of Aerosmith – she and her husband Frank Curtin skipped out on a court appearance in Southern California yesterday. Orange County’s Randy and Evi Quaid were supposed to address questions regarding the $1.2 million they owed a former business partner stemming from an earlier settlement.
According to TMZ.com a Riverside County, California judge has “issued a bench warrant for both Lynne and Frank’s arrest.”
Clearly the American television viewing audience was completely unprepared for the rawness of MTV’s Jersey Shore. Guido fever has swept through the media and the nation and though everything from rationality and moral decency have been tried as a vaccine, nothing seems to be working.
Spearheading the Giuseppidemic is self-proclaimed Guidette Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, whose wild antics and audacious personality led to the infamous “Snooki punch” cleverly used by MTV in commercials for the show, and then censored from the actual episode before airing.
Running a close second to Snooki is the Guidoest of the Guidos, the abtastic Italian Stallion known simply as “The Situation.” I’ve dug up some older photos of Mike, including a photo from his high school yearbook! (Yes, he always had those abs.)
