PHOTOS Is Victoria Rowell joining The Real Housewives of Atlanta?

Victoria Rowell

After rumors started circulating earlier this month that The Real Housewives of Atlanta might not be bringing back show favorites Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak, speculation began as to who would be their replacements. Freddyo.com says he has multiple sources that tell him The Young and the Restless actress Victoria Rowell will be the newest cast member on the show, “but nothing is set in stone just yet…”

In addition to her role as Drucilla Winters on the Y&R daytime soap opera, Victoria also played Dr. Amanda Bentley, Dick Van Dyke’s medical examiner, pathologist and assistant on Diagnosis: Murder. Let’s see, her professional experience includes being on a soap opera and around people where violent crimes are committed every week… YEP! She’s definitely qualified to be on The Real Housewives of Atlanta!

Not only an actor, Victoria also has experience writing for Diagnosis Murder and is a professionally trained ballet dancer. Her first husband was Tom Fahey, who she married in 1989. The couple had their daughter Maya and then divorced a year later. A long-term relationship with musician Winton Marsalis resulted in Victoria’s son Jasper. Victoria is currently married to Radcliffe Bailey, a mixed-media artist from Atlanta.

Freddyo says, “I have been told that Bravo is looking at Victoria because she is full of Drama and loves to fight… I have to tell yall after working with people that have worked for her… ‘She would be the right one for the Job’…They say she’s crazy, funny, and made for TV.”

PERFECT!

She is also very familiar with “She by Sheree,” if this photo from the 11th Annual Diversity Awards is any indication:

(You might remember Victoria from this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards – she was the one wearing the Barack Obama print dress.)

I found a photo of Victoria and her children Maya and Jasper at the Passion Art Tour in 2006:
