Jersey Shore is coming to an end tomorrow night after six fist-pump-worthy seasons, but Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio isn’t done with reality TV. Although his spin-off, The Pauly D Project, wasn’t exactly the ratings draw MTV thought it would be, the E! Network is ready to sign Pauly on for a season two with them — but it won’t be quite the same.
It’s official — the sixth and final season of Jersey Shore has a premiere date! David Janollari, Head of MTV Programming, made the announcement during the network’s presentation at the Summer 2012 Television Critics Association Press Tour earlier today that the beginning of the end will be October 4. Janollari also officially announced Snooki & JWoww would be returning for a second season (something we revealed more than a week ago) as well as Money For Strangers. It’s the end of an era as the cast of Jersey Shore wraps filming on their sixth and final season of what is one of the biggest hit shows in the history of cable television. Even the MTV crew members seemed more relaxed, allowing themselves to be easily photographed along with Snooki, The Situation, Pauly D, JWoww, Vinny, Ronni, Sammi and Deena as they all carried their suitcases down the steps and to their (very nice) vehicles one last time.

The prodigal sons and daughters have returned! The cast of Jersey Shore are back in their old digs in the infamous beach house where it all began to begin shooting Season 5 of the show on Monday. It seems like only yesterday Snooki was loading her stuffed alligator onto an airplane at Newark airport, signaling the beginning of the five-week Jersey Shore invasion of Florence, Italy. Well, now the five weeks are up and the porta party that is the Jersey Shore cast are packing their bags and heading back stateside. The surreal confluence of Jersey Shore meets Italy continues as the cast gets acclimated to their new Tuscan digs – or perhaps it would be more accurate to say “as their new Tuscan digs get acclimated to them.”
One thing America’s favorite Guidos and Guidettes will not allow is for a trip to Florence, Italy to interfere with their acronympho mantra, GTL! The boys and gals were photographed earlier on their way to a tanning salon – and from the looks of them and their attire it seems the G and the L are safe as well! (For those of you in Florence or other remote regions of the world not yet familiar with the Guidocabulary, GTL stands for Gym, Tan, Laundry.)
Maybe it’s because the clubs don’t open until late in Florence, or it maybe it’s because there are no clubs in Florence, but whatever the reason the cast of Jersey Shore hit the streets for their first night out in Italy and wound up smushing some carousel horses!
