In case you missed the Wednesday night premiere of the 23rd season of MTV’s The Real World taking place in Washington, D.C. here is the full episode watchable online!
MTV’s 23rd season of their Real World franchise launched tonight, this time in the nation’s capitol of Washington, D.C. As usual, the first episode featured a cacophony of memorable moments and characters as eight strangers from all over the country came together for the first time in the house they will be sharing for the next six months. There were religious debates, an outing of a homosexual, panda hats and an overabundance of flirting as Andrew, Ashely, Callie, Emily, Erika, Josh, Mike and Ty decided where they were going to sleep and who they were going to drive crazy.
Though there were some interesting characters present, the politically-charged hotness of Ashley Lindley from Houston, Texas seems to have garnered the most internet buzz immediately following the season premiere. The Portuguese hottie not only looked good as she talked about wanting to sleep naked, she also showed she was drama-ready and fully prepared to get in the thick of things, creating and sustaining the kind of drama this sort of show thrives on. She’s got attitude, religion and political fervor – that’s a recipe for some serious reality entertainment!
KITV out of Hawaii is reporting that conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, 58, has been hospitalized in Honolulu after experiencing chest pains in his Kahala hotel room Wednesday afternoon.
Ever wonder what the world would be like if George Lucas made reality television shows? Or if MTV made classic science fiction movies?

A wonderful place where the stress of saving the universe over and over is replaced by the relative ease of hooking up with random hot Guidos and Guidettes over and over.
Though there are numerous beautiful characters and things from the offspring of Star Wars and Jersey Shore, I’ve managed to whittle it down to the Top 5, and here they are!
Here’s the 911 call placed by Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller Christmas morning which resulted in the arrest of Sheen on charges of second degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief. During the call Brooke reveals that Sheen attacked her with a knife and that he was currently in a separate room. She reveals that there are other people present that are keeping them apart. The operator asks a series of questions as police officers are dispatched which reveal that Sheen’s knife was allegedly a pocket-knife or switchblade. Brooke did seem a bit inebriated, as it has been reported, and continually repeated that she had to report the incident.

Someone broke into Jon Gosselin’s New York City apartment, taking a bunch of crap and slicing up “shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings” with a knife before spearing a note to Jon on his dresser referring to him as a “cheater” and signed with Hailey Glassman’s name. Police have interviewed Hailey (Jon’s former girlfriend) but the general consensus is that she was framed by someone else.
I disagree! I think it actually was Hailey Glassman and this is just the first step in a sinister series of events that could possibly end with Jon Gosselin’s heart exploding!
Here are the official statements released by the Aspen Police Department and the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office in regards to the December 25, 2009 arrest of actor Charlie Sheen for allegedly assaulting his wife Brooke Mueller. Just for fun, and to flex our resource muscles, we have pictures of the actual printed out statements that were taped to the door of the Pitkin County Jail in which Sheen was being held!
Law enforcement sources have told website TMZ.com that Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller was legally drunk when she called 911 at 8:34 this morning, a call which led to the arrest of Sheen. According to the source, Sheen registered a buzzin’ .04 but Brooke was Hasselhoff the charts with a .13!
Also, Brooke reportedly recanted her testimony just before Charlie’s bail hearing, admitting she was drunk at the time of the call. Officials tell the site that they plan on still pursuing the case.

According to press releases issued by the Aspen Police Department and the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office, Charlie Sheen was arrested in Aspen, Colorado this morning for second degree assault, felony menacing and criminal mischief after a domestic dispute with his wife Brooke Mueller. Details are still sketchy at this point, but Sheen’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield says, “Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion.”
Multiple sources, including WSLS and swvatoday.com are reporting that a man has exited the post office in a wheelchair and has been taken into custody. All indications are that it is the gunman, but authorities have not confirmed. They are currently searching the inside of the post office to make sure no one else remains inside.
Here is video from the streets of Wytheville, Virginia earlier today where a man reportedly walked into the post office with some sort of firearm and five pounds of C-4 explosives strapped to a wheelchair. Shots have been fired according to witnesses, but there are no reported injuries so far.

Cobbling together info from both articles it sounds as though Christina was riding in the passenger seat of her white Range Rover and her assistant was driving when they rear ended a silver Range Rover turning left at the corner of 3rd Street and Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles right after 5 PM Pacific Time.
It appears as though The Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Lynne Curtin has finally done something exciting! No, she hasn’t replaced her twin brother Steven Tyler as lead singer of Aerosmith – she and her husband Frank Curtin skipped out on a court appearance in Southern California yesterday. Orange County’s Randy and Evi Quaid were supposed to address questions regarding the $1.2 million they owed a former business partner stemming from an earlier settlement.
According to TMZ.com a Riverside County, California judge has “issued a bench warrant for both Lynne and Frank’s arrest.”
Details about the death of 32-year-old actress Brittany Murphy are beginning to surface as police and the coroner’s office continue their investigation into her untimely death on the morning of December 20, 2009. Included are notes from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office investigator including a breakdown of the many prescription drugs found in Brittany’s home.
Clearly the American television viewing audience was completely unprepared for the rawness of MTV’s Jersey Shore. Guido fever has swept through the media and the nation and though everything from rationality and moral decency have been tried as a vaccine, nothing seems to be working.
Spearheading the Giuseppidemic is self-proclaimed Guidette Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, whose wild antics and audacious personality led to the infamous “Snooki punch” cleverly used by MTV in commercials for the show, and then censored from the actual episode before airing.
Running a close second to Snooki is the Guidoest of the Guidos, the abtastic Italian Stallion known simply as “The Situation.” I’ve dug up some older photos of Mike, including a photo from his high school yearbook! (Yes, he always had those abs.)

Brittany Murphy’s charm was not lost of David Letterman, who often had the young actress on his show. The two had a wonderful rapport, as you will see in these four video clips.
Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has visited the L.A. home of Brittany Murphy, who died this morning from cardiac arrest. There were prescription drugs found in the home, but Winter wouldn’t give any specifics as to what kind they were. He tells TMZ that they will be performing toxicology tests but that the results of those tests may take up to six weeks, as you might remember form the Michael Jackson investigation.
Winter told TMZ that “foul play is not suspected at this time.”

There was a time when I thought this movie was an urban myth. Every day I would see a new group of photos from the set of some movie called Valentine’s Day but they always had completely different actors – and not Kathy Griffin “actors” but Bradley Cooper, Anne Hathaway and Kathy Bates actors! Being too lazy to actually do any research, I came to the conclusion that there must be three movies currently under production with the same title.

The US Border Patrol found small traces of marijuana on a couple of rapper Lil’ Wayne’s tour buses (cannibuses?) near the Texas town of Falfurrias and the hip hop (hemp hop?) star is currently being detained, as are 11 others in his posse.
Details are sketchy at this point, but according to TMZ Lil’ Wayne’s entourage were part of a random search by Border Patrol agents that resulted in pot being found on two of the vehicles. It seems pot was not found on any of the persons, and contrary to the misleading headline of this post, no arrests have been made.
Things have been a little slow on the Tiger Woods mistress front, so I’m forced to fill the “professional athlete sex scandal” void with some D-list baller boinking. New York Jets wide receiver Braylon Edwards was apparently going deep on former America’s Next Top Model contestant Nik Pace’s tight end and the result was little Braylon Jr., born in August.
According to the New York Post, Braylon immediately filed to be recognized as the boy’s father, but was surprisingly rejected by Pace. The 25-year-old model relocated to New York after Edwards was traded to the Jets and now she is suing him for $70,000 a month child support.

Here are both 911 calls placed in reference to the Chris Henry and Loleini Tonga auto accident that resulted in the death of the 26-year-old Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver. The first 911 call was made to police by a woman driving behind the truck driven by Loleini Tonga with Chris Henry in the back. The caller describes Henry as having black pants, shirtless with a cast on his arm. She says he is beating on the back window of the truck.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has been involved in a serious auto accident after a domestic dispute with his fiance Loleini Tonga near Charlotte, North Carolina. According to KTPost.com there was a domestic dispute at a residence on Peachtree Road and that Tonga attempted to leave the scene in a pickup truck at which point Henry gave chase and got into the back of the truck. According to police, Henry’s injuries were sustained after falling from the back of the truck while Tonga was driving.

Details are slowly emerging about Tiger Woods mistress number 15 thanks to her association with lawyer Gloria Allred. Radar Online reported that Allred had another Tiger mistress as a client last week, but her name wasn’t known until today.
That was quick! Julie Postle’s 15 minutes of fame lasted all of 15 minutes! 40-year-old Theresa is the oldest of Tiger’s transgressions and resides in Wellington, Florida. She reportedly had relations with Tiger before and after his marriage to Elin Nordegren.
The latest name on the Tiger Woods mistress list is 26-year-old model and former waitress at the Roxy Night Club in Orlando. 28-year-old Brian Kimbrough was a bartender at the Roxy when Julie was a waitress and tells The New York Post that he was dating her when she started her affair with Tiger Woods.

Merry Cosmos! Here’s your interstellar Christmas card from the universe in the form of a spectacular photograph of The Christmas Tree Nebula, or as its known to astronomers, NGC 2264. The photograph was taken by British photographer Greg Parker, who has published a book of wide-field astronomical images titled Star Vistas. The book is chock full of stunning celestial pictures taken by the New Forest professor using just commercially-available equipment and software.
The Nobel Prize concert featured musical performances by the likes of Wyclef Jean, Toby Keith and Donna Summer, but it was 9-year old Willow Smith, daughter of hosts Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith who stole the show with her Rihanna styled hairdo!
