Ooof! I can’t say I’m too impressed with this one! When I first heard “Womanizer” it was a tad bit annoying but it stuck in my head immediately. This song is just plain stuck in the mud melodically. Perhaps they were satisfied that the sure-to-be-controversial menage a trois subject matter would be all the hook they needed? But, there’s no need to start the “has Britney lost it” debates just yet. It is just a bonus track on Britney’s new Singles Collection, so there really wasn’t any need for her to put her best foot forward. A throwaway song with thinly veiled lyrics about a threeway seems perfectly suited for the role.
