BELOW DECK Chief stew Heather Chase’s pageant history

Heather Chase, Below Deck‘s Season 9 Chief Stew, is embroiled in a controversy after saying the “n-word,” which is a racial slur, on camera in front of black deckhand Rayna Lindsey. Heather has offered an apology, but Rayna does not find her apology to be sincere. First officer Eddie Lucas has since come out and said he thought Heather should have been fired over the slur.

Before Heather joined the high seas, she was a prolific pageant queen, and we’ve taken a look into her past in the Hawaii pageant circuits.

BELOW DECK Captain Lee has spinal surgery, responds to the Heather N-word controversy

Below Deck‘s Captain Lee Rosbach was late to the boat on the current season due to having a medical procedure to treat his atrial fibrillation condition. Bravo’s salty “Stud of the Sea” revealed this week that he was recently back in the hospital for another serious procedure — spinal surgery! Captain Lee made the reveal while tweeting about this week’s episode. Unfortunately, the reveal was in response to some negativity surrounding some of the race issues featured on the current season.

BELOW DECK MED Why Hannah and Conrad broke up over 50 euros

Hannah Ferrier and Conrad Empson’s boatmance on Season 3 of Below Deck Mediterranean got serious quickly and fizzled out over 50 euros. BELOW DECK Why is it so hard to dock a yacht?

Each installment of Bravo’s Below Deck franchise has a literal boatload of drama. The biggest sources of drama are, of course, the cast and the charter guests. The other consistent source of drama (and stress) throughout all the Below Deck shows is docking the boats. So, why is docking a yacht or super yacht so difficult?

BELOW DECK MED: Did Chef Ben hook up with Hannah or Tiffany?

Below Deck chef Ben Robinson is most known for his iconic laugh and his delicious-looking food, but he’s also earned a bit of a reputation for hooking up with his colleagues (like many Below Deck alums.) On the original Below Deck, Ben had a friends-with-benefits relationship with stew Kat Held, and also had a between seasons romance with Chief Stew Kate Chastain. When Ben helped kick off Below Deck: Mediterranean, he engaged in flirtations with Hannah and Tiffany Copeland. Did he ever hook up or date Hannah or Tiffany?

BELOW DECK MED Did you know Malia White is missing part of her finger?

It’s usually hard to see, but Below Deck: Mediterranean‘s Malia White is missing the tip of one of her fingers. The yachting bosun posted a photo in August that really highlighted the fact that her left index finger is missing a fingernail because the other nails were painted a dark color, but sometimes viewers spot the missing joint while watching the show.
