Josh Duggar withdraws from lawsuit over release of molestation documents

In what almost seems like a Friday news dump move, Josh Duggar's attorney quietly filed a motion earlier today asking to withdraw his previous motion to join the federal lawsuit filed by his sisters (and victims) against those responsible for releasing and publishing the documents revealing Josh molested young girls when he was 14 years old. That's quite a sentence, I know, and it actually contains more words than the motion itself!

For what may be the first time in more than two years, former 19 Kids and Counting star Josh Duggar allowed himself to be filmed in a video shared publicly online. The clip comes courtesy of Josh's brother-in-law David Waller, husband of Anna's sister Priscilla Waller, and documents a surprise family reunion at the home of Priscilla and Anna's mom in Florida.

As we reported on Thursday, Duggar sisters Jill Dillard, Jessa Seewald, Jinger Vuolo and Joy-Anna Duggar have filed a lawsuit because of information released to In Touch magazine in regards to the Josh Duggar molestation scandal. The City of Springdale, Arkansas is one of the defendants and they have issued an official statement in response to the lawsuit, which they describe as "misguided," "without merit" and "false."
