Reality shows collided in Calabasas, California Monday when reported new Real Housewives of Miami cast member (and PETA activist) Joanna Krupa joined up with fellow model Katie Cleary to lead a protest at the Kardashians’ flagship DASH store location. The two were working with social activism site Care 2 to present a petition with more than 140,000 signatures asking that the celeb fashionistas stop selling furs in their stores.

When you’re down at Starbucks waiting in line and are thinking to yourself, “There’s just too many people in the world,” Michelle Duggar has now presented a counter argument to assuage your overpopulation fears. Momma Duggar was chatting up her life and chirrens to the Christian Broadcasting Network in a web interview. A follower posed the question of what effect Michelle’s huge family may have on the environment and in a larger sense her thoughts on the concept of global overpopulation. Whether you agree with them or not, she always has an interesting perspective and her take on this issue was no different. Having a Facebook account these days is turning out to be a hassle!
There’s a report of an all girls high school in Brooklyn, Beis Rivkah High School, fining students in the 11th grade $100 if they have a Facebook account! Girls were pulled out of class, and handed slips telling them they had to delete their Facebook accounts right away, AND pay $100. If they didn’t do both things, they would be expelled from school. The fine will be returned at the end of the school year.
Down in South Carolina there was a good old-fashioned high school girl’s soccer game going on when, seemingly out of nowhere, things got extremely violent. The schools, Chester High School and Lewisville High School, are rivals, but what transpired went beyond the pale for any rivalry game. Charlie Sheen’s coming back to the small screen with FX’s Anger Management, and he’s a completely different guy than he was a year ago. In fact, even he can’t recognize the raving guy he was around this time last year.

On Friday the film Bully will hit theaters on a limited release. The documentary about the bullying epidemic in America has already generated a lot of controversy over its R rating by the MPAA because of real life adult language used in the film, often by those who are doing the bullying. One of the people featured in the film is Alex Libby from the town of Sioux City, Iowa. He suffers serious bullying as a 12-year-old beginning his middle school years.
