Love After Lockup cast members with the longest prison sentences AFTER filming
Starcasm and All things Lockup have put together a graphic with the longest prison sentences for cast members from the Love After Lockup franchise who were arrested again AFTER they initially filmed for WE TV.
Rachel’s ex Douglas Howard received the longest sentence of 60 years for torture and conducting a criminal enterprise. He got 40 years for the torture charge and 20 years for the criminal enterprise charge. Based on the Michigan DOC website, the sentences are consecutive for a total of 60 years.
Brittany Santiago’s former cellmate Sasha (spelled Sascha on the show) got 36 years for her part in a 2013 botched home invasion that left two people dead and another injured.
Kurtis King, who famously got knocked out by Kevin Hale in a parking lot brawl over inmate Tiffany, was sentenced to 35 years for murder after he killed a man in 2024 during a dispute over a bicycle purchase.
Cheryl Childers’ bank robber bae Josh Hyatt was sentenced to 25 years in prison earlier this year after he was arrested with A LOT of fentanyl and other drugs.
Talsey McCullough got 20 years in prison for burning his fiancée’s house down in 2022. Talsey was featured on the first season of Love During Lockup, but viewers may not remember him because he pretty much ghosted Santiba (and production) as soon as he was released from prison.
LaTisha Collier is the only one on this list who wasn’t the inmate half of the relationship on the show. LaTisha’s shady ways (including multiple felony charges, bankruptcies, tax liens, civil lawsuits and evictions) after first filming for Love During Lockup Season 3 FINALLY caught up with her in July of 2026 when she was sentenced to 15 years in prison for theft and forgery. Because of her prior felony convictions, she has to serve a minimum of three years before being eligible for parole. LaTisha, who is currently pregnant, was released last week on bond as she awaits the results of her appeal.
Dalton Edgin is another former cast member viewers may not remember because he was still in prison when he finished filming for Love During Lockup Season 2. (He was the love interest of Cruella-haired Haley.) Dalton was arrested multiple times after filming, but it was leading a police chase, breaking into someone’s house, then threatening to kill multiple police officers that resulted in a 12-year prison sentence in 2025.
Caitlin’s boyfriend Matthew Frasier had the highest number of arrests after filming, and all of the criminal cases eventually resulted in 8 convictions and a total of 37 years of sentences. Fortunately for Matt, the sentences are concurrent with the longest being 116 months, or 9 years and 8 months.
NOTE: Stan’s ex Lisa is currently serving ten years in Missouri, but it appears that is for charges she had prior to filming that were re-activated due to a parole violation(s).
