Jenelle’s son Jace Evans leaves facility, back with Barbara?
Teen Mom Jenelle Evans’ son Jace Evans was reportedly released weeks ago from the mental health facility he was in after an incident with grandmother Barbara Evans back in February.
Jace was the one who broke the news about his release by sharing an Instagram story on Wednesday. The story was a photo of a laptop showing the Instagram log in page.
The Ashley later confirmed Jace’s release and revealed he “has been out of the facility for a few weeks.”
A tipster informed The Ashley that Jace was observed at the Las Vegas airport with Jenelle’s TikTok pal, Dawson Day.
Jace Evans did not fly to Florida to live with his mom because Jenelle is currently back with David Eason. David cannot be near Jace due to the pending assault by strangulation and misdemeanor child abuse charges against him stemming from an incident with Jace in September, 2024.
Where is Jace living now? The Ashley says he is likely living with Barbara. “There’s also a chance he could be staying at his dad Andrew Lewis’ home,” The Ashley adds, “but it’s much more likely to be Barbara’s.”
Later on Wednesday, Jenelle’s sister Ashleigh Wilson tweeted a photo of Jace with Barbara and Ashleigh’s sons. (Photo included at the top of this post.)
“Please respect Jaces privacy & let him live his own life,” Ashleigh wrote along with the photo. “I know all the details, the tabloids & news articles don’t know. As a private person with my family (not sister), we don’t like rumors or gossip about us on the internet. Thank you for the concerns. He’s fine.”
Ashleigh iterated her point in additional tweets:
I know where Jace is. Please respect his privacy and let him live his own life. Let him be his own person and do his own thing without the tabloids and Internet speculating or causing noise online.I won’t be responding to any messages or comments about Jace or my fam.
He’s fine. I know where he’s at. Nobody needs to worry. He’s in a safe place. Please respect his privacy and just let him live his own life quietly. He needs peace.
Jenelle Evans, Barbara Evans, and Jace’s dad Andrew Lewis are still embroiled in a heated custody battle for the 17-year-old. They are due back in court in North Carolina on September 9.
