For those viewers who simply cannot get enough of television’s “guiltiest pleasure,” WE tv has got some great news: the network has just announced that they have extended the second season of their popular prison romance reality series Love After Lockup with ten additional episodes!
On WE tv’s Love After Lockup Season 1 “Where Are They Now?” special, Andrea shocked her Mormon friends back in Utah (and viewers tuned in to the special) when she revealed that her rapper and “gang banger” husband Lamar was arrested again, and that she was living alone with her kids in the “‘hood” in California!
WE tv surprised Love After Lockup fans when they announced last week that they will be airing a series of “Our Story” specials featuring the Season 1 cast. The network revealed that Johnna DiGrigoli and Garrett Tanner would be the subjects of the first episode premiering this Friday night, but it was unclear who would be featured (or when) after that. Until now!
The Ladies of Love After Lockup (does that deserve a #LOLAL hashtag?) are filming again! Well, three of them anyways. Unfortunately, their new project is not part of Love After Lockup Season 2, which WEtv confirmed was in the works back in February. Keep reading for all we know about the new project directly from Johnna and Mary!
UPDATE: Angela, Tony, Scott, and Lizzie appear to be on board as well!
On the inaugural season of WE tv’s Love After Lockup prison romance reality series, viewers got to see single Mormon mother of three Andrea struggle to make things work with her ganguh-banger husband Lamar, who was finally getting released after serving 18 years for armed robbery. But, could it be that Andrea and Lamar had more in common than we thought — as in both of them serving time behind bars?!
The preview trailer for the first season of WE tv’s new reality series Love After Lockup teases Andrea’s engagement to Lamar, the latter of which is a former rapper who is looking to restart his rap career after serving 18 years behind bars. Keep reading to find out all about Lamar, aka Baby Nucc Dogg.
WE tv’s new reality series Love After Lockup is from the producers of TLC’s 90 Day Fiance, and it appears that those producers have retained their affinity for cast members who have some previous reality show experience.
