Official Duck Dynasty Season 3 cast photos in camo

Duck Dynasty Uncle Si Robertson

The number one reality show on cable (that doesn’t involve the buying and reselling of used merchandise) comes back tonight as the bearded bravados of the Robertson family return for season 3 of Duck Dynasty with back-to-back premiere episodes beginning at 10/9c on A&E.

To promote the new season, the Robertsons posed for photos sporting stylish camouflage outfits in a room (and on a Chaise lounge — er, Jase lounge?) decorated with the same camo pattern. The result is the usual awesomely awkward suaveness we’ve come to expect from the Robertson boys!

The shoot also featured a couple of the Robertson ladies as Korie Robertson and Ms. Kay delivered what we’ve come to expect from them as well — grace, strength, and beauty surrounded by masculine tom foolery! (See: Duck Dynasty goes to Hawaii)

(I’m a little surprised the cast didn’t take at least a couple shots with Willie’s matching camo Beamer!)

And how about all the guys and gals together?

I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the new season, especially when the Robertson family takes a trip to Hawaii! (I sure hope they don’t pick up an ancient taboo idol!) (My apologies for The Brady Bunch reference — it seemed fitting.)

Anyway, here is the official A&E press release for Duck Dynasty Season 3 with the remainder of the camo cast portraits mixed in. Be sure to tune in tonight and every Wednesday night for a while at 10/9c for new episodes of Duck Dynasty!

NEW YORK, NY – JANUARY 28, 2013 – A&E’s most-watched series is back: “Duck Dynasty” returns with Louisiana’s First Family on Wednesday, February 27 with back-to-back premieres at 9 and 9:30PM ET/PT.

Last season, “Duck Dynasty” catapulted itself to become one of TV’s biggest phenomena. The season two finale premiered to 6.5 million viewers on December 5, 2012. The episode was also watched by an A&E record 3.9 million adults 18-49, 3.8 million adults 25-54 and 2.0 million adults 18-34, becoming the most-watched series telecast in network history among all key demos. “Duck Dynasty” was also the top trending TV show on Facebook in 2012.

In the third season premiere episode, the Robertson men prepare for the beginning of duck season. Phil has two rituals that don’t go over well; a date night with Ms. Kay and abstaining from baths. Meanwhile, the guys carry out their tradition of camping out on the land but the group is quickly divided into those who’ll rough it and those who want comfort.

The Robertsons have been busy being America’s favorite big, bearded, camo-clad family. Despite their modest lifestyle and homes in the backwoods, this close-knit family has made a fortune on duck calls by turning a backyard business into a multi-million dollar sporting empire. But for Willie Robertson, the company’s CEO, running a family operation is tough when all your employees live one distraction at a time and find any excuse to leave the warehouse. They may be living the rags-to-riches American dream, but they’re just as busy staying true to their rugged outdoorsman lifestyle and southern roots. Of course, in this household, even the most ordinary family affair is met with a special Robertson twist of downhome practicality and witty sense of humor. Day to day life in the bayou may be mundane for some, but for the Robertsons, every day brings a new adventure.
