When Before the 90 Days Season 2 premieres tonight on TLC, viewers will get to catch up on returning couples Paul Staehle and Karine Martins as well as Darcey Silva and Jesse Meester. We will also be introduced to five new couples who will be meeting abroad for the first time in hopes of their international romance turning into a happily ever after. For those avid fan looking for more information than the show has to offer, we’ve compiled all the “evuhdense” together that 90 Daytectives have managed to gather so far, including some spoilers and some intriguing background info on the new cast members.
Let me start off by saying that Before the 90 Days is notoriously harder to get concrete spoilers than the original franchise because the concept means that the new couples haven’t even met yet and the K-1 visa process has not started. So, there are no marriage records to look for, no photos of the foreign cast members in the United States after the 90 days, no K-1 paper trail, etc. In addition, it appears that the producers have done a much better job at keeping most of the cast members pretty tight lipped on social media about their relationship statuses.
Even so, we’ve still been able to gather up quite a bit of evuhdense for the Season 2 binder! Oh, and a special thanks to my fellow 90 Daytectives over on the r/90DayFiance subreddit for their hard work and unrivaled enthusiasm!
OK, let’s start with the returning cast members. I will mark each new cast member with a string of asterisks, so if you’re looking for someone in particular, you can quickly scroll down.
UPDATE – This was initially intended to be a single post, but there was SO MUCH information in the evuhdense binder that we had to break it down into multiple articles. This one will just be for the returning cast members, but I will be updating at the bottom of the post with links to the posts about the new cast members as they are published.

PAUL STAEHLE and KARINE MARTINS
If you haven’t been keeping up with Paul and Karine during the off season, you have missed A LOT! I will include a recap from our most recent post and follow that with a timeline of links from the past ten months:
Paul returned to Brazil for the second time in September of last year. He and Karine broke up and got back together, then broke up and got back together again, then broke up and got back together yet again — and somewhere in between they got married. Also, at some point along the way, Karine apparently got pregnant, as evidenced by several quickly deleted baby bump photos posted by Paul on Instagram.
As far as the couple coming to the US, Karine revealed back in October that they “canceled the visa process” before adding that she and Paul “are trying a different visa.” It’s assumed that she was referencing the CR-1 visa, which applies when a couple is already married — like Paul and Karine. An added monkey wrench thrown into things is that Paul has indicated that he overstayed his visa while in Brazil, and he was unable to leave the country as a result.
Paul shared a Facebook post in May that indicated a decision on his and/or Karine’s ability to travel to the United States was imminent, but Paul provided no further updates on the decision.
Fast forward to last week and we got the first confirmation that Paul was able to return to the United States, and more specifically, his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. Although Paul certainly tries to imply that Karine is in the United States as well, the efforts seem suspiciously lacking in hard evidence. As a result, it is this 90Daytective’s conclusion that Karine is still in Brazil.

May 12, 2018 – Paul hints that he and Karine may be coming to the US together soon
June 18, 2018 – Karine is pregnant! Paul Staehle posts and deletes baby bump photos!
August 2, 2018 – Photo of Paul back in the US, but it’s unclear if Karine is with him

DARCEY SILVA and JESSE MEESTER
I haven’t really kept up with the Darcey and Jesse relationship drama too much, and that’s because I just don’t buy their relationship being legit. I can believe it was totally authentic in the beginning, but I feel very confident they are just pretending at this point so they could film another season. At best, they are forcing another attempt at making their relationship work, motivated mostly by an opportunity to come back to TLC. I’m not normally a fan of being frauded like that, but I love watching the Jesse and Darcey drama regardless, and I’m looking forward to seeing their Dutch telenovela antics this season!
But, if you want to fill in the gaps a little bit between their Before the 90 Days Tell All blow up at the end of last season and the beginning of Season 2, then you can check out Darcey’s appearance on The Jenny McCarthy Show in which she revealed that she and Jesse were still together, but not without tossing him under the bus. And we all know that nothing makes Jesse talk more than when he has a bus on top of him! This instance was no exception.
