Yesterday, we were able to more or less confirm that Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Lyrica Anderson is in fact pregnant. (If you haven’t checked out the footage of Lyrica rubbing her baby bump at a gender reveal party, you can see it here.) But who is Lyrica’s baby daddy? The show is ratcheting up the tension, pushing Safaree and Roccstar as possibilities and implying that Lyrica and A1 are finished. It’s reality TV, though, so nothing is really what it seems…
Lyrica’s co-star, Love & Hip Hop freelancer Safaree Samuels, emerged as the early favorite. The storyline involving he and Lyrica allegedly sleeping together has dominated LHHH Season 5 so far. However, despite Safaree’s seeming confession, that story still has more doubters than haters — and Safaree himself has been denying the allegation on social media of late, promising that fans will just have to watch and see what happens:
A surprise candidate for Lyrica’s baby daddy appears to be Season 5 newbie Roccstar. The Jasmine Brand recently reported that Roccstar has been “super messy” by “flat out sa[ying] he had sex with Lyrica.” Plus, thanks to the magic of preview clips, we already know that Roccstar is trying to get with Lyrica for at least the benefit of Love & Hip Hop‘s cameras:
And we further know that A1 and Roccstar get into it later in the same episode:

If we’re honest, though, the idea of Roccstar being Lyrica’s baby daddy seems more like a smoke screen than a legit possibility. Our sources also indicate as much, suggesting that both Safaree and Roccstar are distractions, and that the real father is A1.
He and Lyrica already aired all their dirty laundry during last week’s episode — A1’s alleged orgy affairs are finally out in the open — and in any case they’ve been spotted together on dates and doing press for the show for months. (The photo of the two of them at the top of the article was taken after a date on June 11th; see if you can spot a baby bump!)
We’ll close with Lyrica’s really quite touching birthday tribute to the man she calls “my king” from this past July. If you believe she’s faking her love for him, you must think Lyrica should be up for some sort of acting award:
They’re probably going to drag this drama out all season long, Kirk-and-Rasheeda-style, but we’ll keep tuning in to find out the truth. Love & Hip Hop Hollywood Season 5 airs Monday nights at 8 on VH1.
