Breaking Amish’s Chapel Peace Schmucker gets chemo, forgoes Gerson cancer treatment in Mexico

It was a gut-wrenching moment on Return to Amish when cast member Chapel Peace revealed her cancer had returned. Since the cameras stopped rolling we’ve continued to update fans on how Chapel (now a Schmucker) is doing, with our last check in coming back in July. At the time Chapel had launched a Go Fund Me campaign in hopes of raising enough money to pay for her to receive the alternative Gerson Therapy treatment in Mexico. That campaign has raised nearly $4,000 to date, so what has that meant for Chapel? Keep reading for all the latest updates from her.

The Challenge’s Diem Brown looks to surrogacy in order to have a child

After reporting the sad news that Diem Brown is battling cancer for the third time, we have a happier update from The Challenge veteran. She is looking to surrogacy for her future family! MTV The Challenge star Diem Brown diagnosed with cancer for third time

We have some sad news to report from the world of reality TV as The Challenge‘s Diem Brown, who has very publicly survived two separate battles with ovarian cancer, has been diagnosed with colon cancer. Diem is currently in the ICU at a New York City hospital in stable condition after multiple surgeries to remove tumors discovered after she collapsed during filming of a reality show abroad.

REPORT Valerie Harper sued for $2M for withholding cancer diagnosis from employer

On top of battling brain cancer, Valerie Harper now must contend with a lawsuit filed by her former employer. In the lawsuit, playwright Matthew Lombardo claims Valerie intentionally failed to disclose her 2009 cancer diagnosis before singing onto his show. She had to drop out of the production when the cancer spread to her brain in 2013.
